So that factory job did not last long, and the one after that led to my breaking my right arm. I am still at the motel and still looking for work (mostly legal or better), though as a chain-smoker I am not much for holding my breath.
More importantly, my ma has been in and out of the hospital, having a bypass heart surgery last week and a number of strokes since.
I love my goddaughter immeasurably but I am growing very tired of this life.
